Sunday June 15th 2014
For the 4th edition of the Dash we have moved the event from April to June and changed the event from a reliability ride to a sportive. This has allowed us to do away with cumbersome paper entries and use the BC online entry system.
Cost of entry £15 (£14 + £1 admin)
Entry to ride A is open to ages 14+ and ride B 16+. All entrants under the age of 18 must contact the organiser for a parental consent form to be completed prior to the event.
The event does not have electronic chip timing.
As in previous years Edmondbyers Village Hall will be used as a checkpoint (twice for Route B) and provide sandwiches, fruit, snacks and drinks.
We have 2 rides to choose from
From Blaydon both rides travel along a route to Edmunbyers where both rides stop for first break.
Route A then does a shorter loop to return directly to Blaydon.
Route B then does a longer loop into Weardale and returns back to Edmundbyers for their 2nd stop before returning to Blaydon.
